Defective front and rear shock absorbers lead to excessive pitching of vehicle even on minor uneven asphalt. Owners with this defect are swerving their vehicles to avoid rough pavement increasing risk of collisions. As I understand it the problem is due to a defective batch of shock absorbers included on some japanese built 2007 crvs. Us built units seem to have avoided this issue.
2007 Honda crv produced in japan has defective shock absorber assemblies which allow the car to bounce undamped on rough road surfaces and can lead to loss of control. The us manufactured units do not exhibit this behavior. Additionally Honda lists different replacement parts for the us and japanese built 2007 models so the parts are not interchangeable.
