1 Catalytic Convertor problem

The contact owns a 2009 Honda Cr-v. While driving approximately 55 mph, the contact heard a loud banging noise under the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the bolts securing the catalytic converter rusted and failed. Also, the shield holding the converter and bolts needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000.
