Door Latch problems of the 2009 Honda CR-V

The contact owns a 2009 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that while reversing there was an unknown abnormal sound detected from the front passenger side door. There were no warning indicator lights illuminated. When the driver's front and passenger side front doors were ajar, the sound was not detected. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that the actuator had malfunctioned. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but provided no additional assistance. The contact stated the failure mileage was approximately 58,800.
