Other Fuel System problem #1

Got this vehicle about a year and a half ago at full price from local dealership. It looks like it has been pieced together with many other Hondas. The check engine light has been on ever since. The car keeps yet no camera. Just tried to get inspected. So far charged 2500 but was given a pass on inspection only for the light to come back on. I noticed on the back of repair paperwork this car has 2 airbag recalls. I feel duped I feel like this is attempted murder. I feel scared and sad. Something must be done with used car purchases.

Other Fuel System problem #2

Unintended acceleration, no braking possible due to brakes not responding, had to maneuver at high speed to avoid people and vehicles in parking lot. Had to choose going over curb flew over bushes before able to safely stop car. Vehicle being sent to dealer for inspection. There were no warnings 0f any sort prior to failure.

Other Fuel System problem #3

Catalytic converter failure. I also found out that the vehicle is covered under an excessive oil comsumption warranty which they will replace the engine piston rings due to oil entering the system. This problem will also cause oil to get into the fuel system and eventually get it the catalytic converter causing it to fouled and set efficiency codes . I am in the process of enquire to see if Honda will replace the catalytic converter.

Other Fuel System problem #4

The engine light comes on all the time and the dealer just says to unscrew and re tighten the fuel cap. Sometimes this fixes and sometimes it doesn't.

Other Fuel System problem #5

The contact owns a 2010 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that while driving 65 mph, the contact smelled gasoline. The failure was recurring. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis where it was stated that the pipe assembly joint needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.

Other Fuel System problem #6

At least 5 times now my 2010 Honda crv-ex awd car has tried to take off on me while applying the brake to come to a stop. I wrote it off the first time thinking maybe my foot was still touching the gas pedal when I applied the brake. The next time it happened I looked down to make sure my foot was only on the brake. My car jumped forward, even with my foot on the brake. I threw it into neutral and the motor revved up to about 5500 rpms before it decided to stop. This has happened 3 times at a stop light and twice in a parking lot. I'm afraid to drive my own vehicle. I called the dealership and they said they had not heard of any problems similar to what I described and there were no recalls that would be related to this issue. Help! what can I do besides take it to the dealership and have it not happen and tell me nothing is wrong.
