Warnings problems of the 2017 Honda CR-V

Car has been running fine and maintenance is up to date . Got up one day to leave for work and when I went to accelerate I started hearing a grinding clatter type noise ( only when accelerating at about 3k-5k rpm ) and once the car got up to needed speed it goes away . No engine light codes ( but having intermittent connection issues with obd port but never been damaged or anything) but it does it sometimes consistently and sometimes it will have a few moments under same acceleration condition or higher rpms but its never consistent. When these occur the car feels like power loss in the acceleration and a slight dragging in the drivability but again not always present. Been to exaust shop and they found nothing from. Their initial inspection. Its hard to trigger the affects since it happens randomly/intermittently. Very unsave and there are no reasons or explanations to these events.

My 2017 Honda crv throws up all warning lights regarding tpms, lane keep assist, cruise, engine, etc. . . I've replaced the battery. I've taken it to the dealer and they just say we don't know what it is and we would like to hold it for 24-48hrs to do a diagnostic which is $250 out of pocket without a fix. Multiple forums state that this is a consistent problem with the 2017-2021 model years. One common fix is fuel injector replacement, but that only temporarily fixes the issue then all the lights come on again. It's a hazard and since all mechanisms are controlled by electronics, we need Honda to fix the issue or look into it as it's very dangerous to drive when dealers can't even isolate the issue.

Unintended sudden acceleration caused accident at a speed of less than 5 miles while parking the car in empty library parking lot oct 22, 2023 collision summary: as I was parking the car I turned into an empty parking spot with a speed of about 3 to 4 miles. A sudden burst of unintended acceleration as I turned to park caused high speed and my car hit a car parked on the opposite side, not in front but adjacent parking spot. This sudden unintended burst of acceleration so quick and forceful that as my car hit the car on the front bumper of parked car. The collision deployed the airbag. I was shaken and traumatized momentarily. I avoided bigger collision and managed to stop the car some 15 ft ahead in the empty space. The door opened only halfway due to damage on front side near drivers door. There was smoke inside the car that scared me. I was shaken and managed to come out safely. I went inside the library and called my daughter. My daughter called 911 to report about the accident to the police. The police and medical emergency came within 15 minutes. I told them that I am alright and no injuries of any type occurred. The policeman was also surprised by this unusual collision in an empty parking lot. After going over the accident he told me that he will not give me a ticket for this incidence. I provided detailed information of patrolman (name, phone number, email) to jasmine in Honda headquarter office in torrence CA. I reported issues of my 2017 Honda to Honda dealer and Honda office in torrence, CA on June 27, 2019. No action was taken than. It must be investigated. My car has done only about 25,000 miles, serviced by Honda dealer, I have a clean driving record since last 25 years. I am scared to drive after the sudden acceleration incident. I am asking Honda to give a replacement car and compensation.

Malfunction indicators all light up at the same time. Mechanic can't find anything wrong, but he resets the computer and the lights go off. . . . Temporarily! the lights stay on until I go back to the mechanic. This is the second time. My car is no longer under warranty. . . If I go there, it'll cost a fortune for them just to look at it, and then another fortune for charging to �fix� the problem. Car is stationary. . . Happens when I turn the car on. I live in tucson, az, so I doubt it's the weather!.
