Sun/moon Roof Assembly problems of the 2020 Honda CR-V

The contact owns a 2020 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated while driving 60 mph, the contact heard an explosive sound coming from the vehicle without incident. The contact pulled over to inspect the vehicle but discovered no damage; however, upon resuming driving, she heard rushing wind coming from the panoramic sunroof. Upon pulling back the sunroof cover, the contact discovered a significant sized hole in the sunroof. An unknown dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the repair was not covered under warranty. The vehicle was not inspected or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000.
