While driving on the interstate at 60+ speeds, my steering wheel sticks and has locked up causing me to jerk the wheel so hard that I went into another lane and almost wrecked. Initially the issue happened when the car had 31k miles on it and was repaired by Honda under warranty. Now, at 51k the same steering issue is happening again and they are charging me to fix it. The first part replacement only last one year and 5 months. There is a well known issue with Honda crv steering - why isn’t my 2022 crv included in the recall? the steering wheel also feels like it becomes detached and loose when steering in a parking lot and knocks/pops with hard turns. The drivers side seatbelt doesn’t roll back up when disconnected causing it to stay loose and fall in the door way which has caused several large dents in my car due to the seatbelt falling in the door way as I close the door.
I have 9,000 miles on my vehicle. The driver seat belt stopped latching during a drive .
When buckling my 3 kids in this newly purchased car I noticed the middle seat belt latch and the driver side passenger latches are flipped which results in seatbelts crisscrossing when both buckled. This means this supposedly “5 seater” car cannot safely buckle each seat making it a 4 seater car. Problem can be fixed if the belt buckles are flipped around.
When I put my child’s car set in the middle, or anyone sitting in my back middle seat the person sitting on the left hand side can not buckle there seat belt because the way that the buckles are put in it has to cross over the buckle for the middle seat. I brought it to the dealership they said there is nothing they can do to fix it that’s how all the models are made. It’s not safe and not convenient. I only realized this recently when I had my most recent child and actually needed to use all 3 seats with car seats.
