general problems of the 2022 Honda CR-V

The contact's daughter owns a 2022 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked during hot weather conditions, the interior of the vehicle would get hot, causing the lane departure feature to malfunction. The lane departure warning light illuminated and beeped. The failure caused distractions while driving and failed to deactivate until the vehicle cooled down. The daughter turned on the a/c to cool down the vehicle to correct the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the front camera system needed to be replaced; however, replacement parts were on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 1,850.
