12v/24v/48v Battery problems of the 2024 Honda CR-V

The contact owns a 2024 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The contact stated that the power reduced error message was displayed. The contact stated that the vehicle was driving abnormally sluggish, and failed to exceed 18 mph. The vehicle was driven to the shoulder of the road and turned off. The contact waited for a while before restarting the vehicle. The vehicle was driven to the residence. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with hybrid battery failure. The contact was informed that the hybrid battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the failure had started shortly after the vehicle was purchased. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times; however, the failure was not duplicated. The contact was relieved that the vehicle was repaired; however, the contact was fearful that the failure could reoccur. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed.
