The contact owns a 2024 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that while at traffic light and holding steering wheel, there was a pinching on steering wheel and steering wheel was turning slowly. The failure was intermittent. The dealer was contacted and diagnosed the vehicle with rack and pinion failure. The contact was informed that the rack and pinion needed to be replaced. The vehicle was previously repaired under warranty; however, the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was contacted by phone and was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.
