Tire Bulge problem #1

The contact owns a 2007 Honda Fit. The vehicle has dunlop tires, size 195/55/r15 (na). The contact noticed a bulge in the front passenger tire. Several months later, while driving approximately 62 mph, the front passenger wheel spontaneously detached and only the rim remained. The vehicle was towed to the nearest tire shop and all four tires were replaced. The manufacturer was unable to assist. The dot number was unknown. The failure mileage was 20,450 and current mileage was 20,492.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System problem #2

The contact has a 2007 Honda Fit. Every three to four months, the contact has to replace the air in the tires at least three to four times within the month. The failure occurs intermittently in each tire. She also stated that the driver's seat position causes severe muscle pain in her right foot. She has changed the position of the seat, but the failure remains. The dealer and manufacturer have not yet been notified. The current mileage was 1,160 and failure mileage was 1,100.

Tire Blowout problem #3

With no precipitating event that we are aware of, the inner sidewall of the left front tire blew out while we were driving at 55 mph on us hwy 93 in western montana on a dry road. All four tires, purchased as a set, had just under 6,000 miles on them and had been rotated by the tire store from which we purchased them just two days before incident and were properly inflated. Upon inspection after incident outer sidewall looks stressed as it, too, was ready to blow. As we expected, the tire dealer has agreed to replace the tire,.
