Headlights and taillights have gone out. Replaced bulbs and fuses. Brakelights and highbeams still functional faulty relay most likely as a similar problem was already found on the 2002 Honda civic.
Both front headlights fail to work. They went out at the same time. Using high beams to drive after dark in the meantime.
It seems to be the same as the recall problem #10v624000, however, my VIN isn't listed on recall info site. My low beams are not working but the high beams still function. I noticfed it when I tried to turn them on at night. I don't know what might have caused it other than a defect.
When I am driving with my high beams on and turn them to low beam they go out and it takes different lengths of times for them to come back on. I had the same issue 2 years ago and the dealership said they fixed it. It worked fine until the other night driving home on a country road which was extremely scary. I took it back and they said they checked it but it wasn't from the recall. I know nothing about cars but I'm having a hard time understanding why the same exact problem is from something else.
Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Honda Fit. The contact stated that while driving at 45 mph, the high beam head lamps failed to function. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. Was driving my Honda Fit 2007 last night when my low beams suddenly went out. I had only my high beams and had to drive home with people flashing their high beams at me. I went to the auto parts store to get new fuses to see if this would help the problem and I replaced them but the fuses were fine. Went onto the computer to research this problem and found numerous incidents where this has happened to 2007 Honda Fits. This is a very dangerous and expensive situation if I have to pay upwards of 300. 00 to repair?.
Low beams on my Honda Fit suddenly stopped working, only high beams work.
The low beam lights stopped working all of a sudden while driving at night. If my son hadn't figured out to flip on the high beams, he would have gotten in an accident. It looks like the wiring harness to the switch is bad. All of the fuses are fine.
Lowbeams failed at the same time without warning. Only highbeams are available for nighttime driving.
