The contact owns a 2015 Honda Fit. The contact stated that the instrument cluster warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who informed the contact about start system error regarding the engine start/stop feature. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that the switch assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The contact mentioned receiving a product advisory for the keyless start. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however, no further assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 109,000.
