The contact owns a 2018 Honda Hr-v. The contact stated when she started the vehicle and it would not start. She had to start the vehicle several time for the vehicle to start. The vehicle was able to start but it shut down while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer were they stated it was the alternator. The alternator was replaced but the failure continued. The contact did her own researched and saw that the vehicle was experimenting the same failure as NHTSA campaign number: 20v314000(fuel system, gasoline). She informed the dealer and they stated that the vehicle was not under the recall. The manufacturer was contact and they stated that there was nothing they could do because the vehicle was not under the VIN. The failure mileage was 80,000.
