Suspension Problems of Honda HR-V

The contact owns a 2025 Honda Hr-v. The contact stated while driving at undisclosed speeds, the rear end of the vehicle was wobbling abnormally. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed; however, the results of the diagnostic test was unknown. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure and suggested that the contact take the vehicle to the dealer for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 4,402.

My car has a warning of gauge display on the warning says: range & fuel , my gas tank is always full. Also when I brake the car made a movement if the motor mounts are old and not holding my motor of my vehicle.

The vehicle developed a rattle and I took it to the dealer and was told that both rear shocks and dampers had to be replaced. When I went to pick up my vehcile, there was another vehicle that was the exact same year and model there with the same issue. My car has only 24,731 miles and was our of warranty by 1 month. This seams too coincidental form my car and another car to come in with the same problem, which leads me to believe that this may be a fault part. Please look out for this problem on other similar vehicles.

Steering wheel gets loose and loud clonking noise from rear of vehicle, back window shattered while car was parked with no one around. Brakes have been grinding since day of purchase.

While driving I noticed a loud noise coming from the rear. Took it in and Honda changed out my shocks. I went in a few months later and the equipment they put on is now leaking and the loud noise is back. Honda now refuses to do anything with this part being a 50-60,000 mile part and I have not driven that far.

It first started out by what I thought was just a issue with me having three new tires bc it would drive as if it was scrubbing. One day I was on my way back from a hair appointment and came to a complete stop and the car went from being in drive to neutral and flashing with the brake light so from that moment on I pulled the car over and put it in park and turned it off and hit the electrical park brake to make sure that was not the issue. Crunk back up and was on my way. So today 11/30 which is a week later I was at the red light stopped and once the light turned green I released my foot off the break and gently pressed the gas and the car acted as if it didn't want to go. So after still lightly hitting the gas praying it would move enough to get out of the road for me to park it in front of a store; I made it directly off the highway into the store parking lot. Once I got it there I put the car in park turned it off and back on. I then ried to put it in drive and reverse and it wouldn't move. Assuming it could have been a transmission problem but none of the lights on the dahs came on. Another issue that has been occuring a year after I purchased the car new, the monitor shuts off and on in the car and goes back to the original Honda link screen every time it restarts.

I have been told my shocks are leaking after less than three years of having the vehicle. I do not do any irregular driving. Just to and from work on paved streets and highways.

At 15,837 miles of normal driving and without excessive loads; the right rear strut on our new vehicle broke. It made a clunking sound in the right rear of the car. When ordering the new strut, the dealer told us that they were backordered from so many replacement requests.

On September 16, 2017, while driving, we discovered a noise from the rear of the vehicle that sounded like a loose shock or strut. We brought our car in to the dealership and after several hours of inspection, it was determined that the shock went bad. So the dealership replaced the shock. On approximately January 7, the same sound has returned and we contacted the dealership. The dealership informed us that Honda has issued a recall on the shocks for 2015 and 2016 models. . Bothering noise from the right rear side of my hrv I suspected that it a strut problem. Under warranty only 11,000 miles.
