3 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/19/2013

Moulding seal around rear triangle (non-opening) windows detached on both driver and passenger side of car creating an unsealed window and causing rubber 'strips' to flap while driving at a speed over 35mph. Soon after, the entire rubber seal on passenger side door detached allowing moisture and other elements to enter the vehicle. Took vehicle to dealership and was told that moulding is not covered by the manufacturers nor extended warranty that was purchased and that repairs would cost a minimum of $800. I called Honda America to file a complaint and was told they do not maintain a database of defects. I have owned Hondas in the past and have never found them to be so shoddily constructed. I own a 1968 vehicle that still has all moulding in tact. Unacceptable.

4 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/10/2013

I am driving this Honda Insight from last 2 years and lately I found that when I drive on highway at the speed more than 60 and open the rear window panes the car makes lot of noise and shakes. When I reached out to Honda dealer per the dealer that is buffets only, I am not satisfied with the evaluation done by the service manager at the dealership, and Honda always sending me to dealer for the review.

5 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 09/30/2011

Vehicle purchased 07/12/2010 with 520mi on odometer on 3 different occasions a wheel sensor for the tpms has failed. The first two were replaced under vehicle warranty, no questions asked. Took the vehicle to hendrick Honda of bradenton florida ( the only shop to do any work on this vehicle!) on 09/04/2014 I took it in for an oil change and the tpms error that I'm so getting used to. . . The service adviser stated it would cost over $200 dollar to replace (not in the budget this week). He would not tell me which wheel had the bad sensor ( I just wanted to know if it was a new fail or an old one) shop would not give me that information!!!! I asked for the tpms system to be disabled and was told that it cannot be. . . . It is federally mandated system. . . Now one would think the wheel sensors are part of the mandated system right? no, they are not said the service adviser . . . A federally mandated system would by description be equal to the sum of all of it's parts correct??? no even this being the third failure in 4 years they would not replace a major part of the vehicles safety system with a pattern of failing. So now they cross rotated the tires, and I have no idea which is the bad wheel. . . . Safety first.
