Two problems related to front seat belt retractor have been reported for the 1999 Honda Odyssey. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Retactors will not stay locked, causing css to move. Dealer notified, and was willing to help in this matter.
The retractor only goes in and will not release until it goes in completely. This happens with the 4 rear seatbelts. Owner's child was caught in seatbelt. Dealer said it was part of design flaw. It was necessary to cut the tightly twisted belt from around child's waist.
