Tire Sidewall problems of the 1999 Honda Odyssey

Three problems related to tire sidewall have been reported for the 1999 Honda Odyssey. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 03/21/2005

Michelin tire x-radial dt, p215/65r16. The front right tire has a 2 inch tear in the sidewall of the tire which could lead to a possible blowout. Owner contacted the manufacturer, and was told to have the tire inspected.

2 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 06/15/2000

Vehicle parked. Noticed sidewall on left front tire had an opening due to a huge crack. All 4 tires had 4,800 miles on them. Took to dealer & the tire was replaced. 1999 Honda Odyssey-bridgestone/firestone all season p215/55r16.

3 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 05/29/2000

Sidewall blowout &/or tread separation. (dot number: vn 2h aaa tiresize: p215/65r16).
