Wheel Rim problem #1

Rim cracked on inside of driver's front tire. They say we must have hit something, but there was nothing that I was aware of so must not have been much force. Wonder if rim is defective design.

Tl-the contact owns a 2000 Honda Odyssey equipped with yokohama tires, tire line: avid touring s, tire size: 215/65r16 98ts, and dot number: cchb81t3713. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph, the left front and left rear tire experienced tread separation. In addition, the front left and rear left tires became completely flat in a period of ten days thereafter. A dealer was not made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 254,000. Ad.
