1 Fuel Pump problem

Failure Date: 07/27/2020

Tl the contact owns a 2006 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated while driving 55 mph, when he started feeling sleepy. The contact stated that there was an abnormal fuel odor inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the fuel pump was replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The VIN was included in NHTSA campaign number: 14v112000 (fuel system, gasoline). Lejeune Honda cars located at 2221 n marine blvd, jacksonville, nc 28546, (910) 346-4944, were contacted and made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

2 Fuel Pump problem

Failure Date: 03/09/2014

2006 Honda Odyssey. Consumer writes in regards to fuel pump recall repairs and seeks reimbursement. The consumer stated the fuel pump was replaced because gas leaking through the top.

3 Fuel Pump problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2013

2006 Honda Odyssey. Consumer writes in regards to fuel pump leakage recall notice and requests reimbursement for repairs. The consumer noticed the problem in August 2013, prior to the recall.

4 Fuel Pump problem

Failure Date: 07/15/2013

After driving fuel smell from rear of vehicle and fumes enter cabin at times while driving. Inspected for leak found liquid fuel drips from top of fuel tank, removed interior compartment access panel and found spider cracks in the top of the fuel pump housing. As soon as vehicle is started the fuel seeps from the top of the fuel pump. Will need fuel pump replacement. In process of contacting manufacturer - Honda.

5 Fuel Pump problem

Failure Date: 01/14/2008

The contact owns a 2006 Honda Odyssey. While driving 30 mph, the vehicle shut off. The failure occurred more than five times, twice while making a turn. The contact was able to shift into neutral, which allowed the vehicle to immediately restart. The most recent failure occurred while driving approximately 30 mph. He had an appointment to take the vehicle to the dealer at the time of the complaint. The manufacturer referred him to the dealer. The current mileage was approximately 41,000 and failure mileage was approximately 29,000. Updated 03/04/09. The fuel pump relay was replaced. Updated 03/04/09.
