The contact owns a 2006 Honda Odyssey. While driving approximately 25 mph the vehicle was involved in a crash in which the front and rear passenger side air bags did not deflate after deployment. As a result, the passengers in the front and rear seats had their heads stuck between the air bags and the window. The passengers had to open the doors in order to free themselves. She also stated that the air bags took longer to deploy than normal. A police report was filed but no injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop but the failure was not diagnosed. The vehicle was repaired. The failure and current mileages were 85,696 updated 3/7/11.
None of the side curtain airbags deployed. Van was hit hard in front drivers side. The side airbags barely cracked the casings and didn't deploy out as designed. This happened on both the left and right side. A child was sitting behind the driver.
