2 Other Fuel System Pump problem

Failure Date: 12/29/2016

The contact owns a 2007 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that the fuel pump failed while the vehicle was parked. In addition, there was a strong fuel odor emitting from the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 14e049000 (fuel system, gasoline). The failure mileage was 7,500.

3 Other Fuel System Pump problem

Failure Date: 07/11/2015

Was driving on a major highway with my family at 65-70 mph when all of a sudden I lost all power to my van. It was a very dangerous situation, I was lucky enough to coast to the right shoulder, I had the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership where they are now saying it is the fuel pump. There is a recall for the fuel pump (# 14e049000)&(gl14-004). But my VIN# does not show a recall. What can I do?.

4 Other Fuel System Pump problem

Failure Date: 08/20/2014

I took the vehicle in for the fuel pump recall in July 2014. I don't drive the vehicle daily are much. A month or two later I filled the tank up and noticed the fuel gauge didn't go to "f", so I figured maybe it's not full, that happen two more times and still happening currently and I was not having this problem prior to the recall. The dealership wants me to pay $120. 00 just for them to diagnosis the problem. I don't feel I should have to pay for them to diagnosis a problem I wasn't having prior to the recall. I realize it's months later but I don't drive the vehicle daily or weekly to have to fill the tank up as often.

5 Other Fuel System Pump problem

Failure Date: 05/29/2014

While leaving campus parking lot, car stopped, can't restart it. Dealer say it's fuel pump false reading that leaves tank empty and charge me almost $1000 for replacing a new fuel pump. Got recall letter from Honda earlier re fuel pump leaks fire risk, and fix is pending further notice. Dealer says my case not apply to this recall. What I am complain here ~ 1. I am been ripe off by dealer's "twist definition" not applying to the same recall defect fuel pump and have to pay $1k extra for the same recall defect parts. 2. What if this is happening on the highway, it's would be very dangerous and leads to a chain of accident. 3. Honda confined its fuel pump failure to certain area in order to reduce the recall lose, actual defective damage & safety hazard to consumers could be bigger.
