Tl the contact owns a 2010 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that while driving 40 mph, the vehicle stalled with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Honda dealer proximate to incident diagnosed as fouled spark plug related to cylinder deactivation system in car. Internet research indicates that this is a known and common occurance with Honda cars having a v6 engine with cylinder deactivation.
