The contact owns a 2015 Honda Odyssey. While driving various speeds or while the vehicle was parked, the passenger side view mirror camera failed to display images on the interior monitor when the passenger side turn signal was activated. Also, the rearview camera grid failed to display on the monitor when in reverse. The vehicle was taken to mcconnell Honda (2840 eastern blvd, montgomery, al 36116 (334) 271-2500) four times, but the cause of the failure could not be diagnosed. The dealer stated that when the exterior temperature was hot, the cameras would fail to operate correctly. A diagnostic was performed, which was unable to locate a failure code. The manufacturer was notified, but did not assist. The failure mileage was approximately 17,000.
