The contact owns a 2015 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the rpm gauge continuously moved while the contact was driving. The contact stated the gears did not shift smoothly and the engine was shuttering. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The vehicle was diagnosed with failed pgm-fi transmission software. The pgi-fi transmission software needs an update. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 61,030.
