Body problems of the 2024 Honda Odyssey

2024 Honda Odyssey with only 24k miles has a leak in the tailgate from bad welding in the body that is gathering water in the trunk. Safety isn’t at risk but I would say that the corrosion to any electrical items are at risk which will put me and my family and others at risk of something failing. Yes the problem has been reproduced and it’s a common thread on the internet. We will be taking it to the dealership to inspect since it’s still under warranty. No messaging of this from the car except the fowl odor.

Water leak, which could fire the taillight lamps. Happening to lot of Honda odessey models.

My wife and kids were driving down the highway when the moonroof spontaneously exploded. It made a loud popping noise and glass rained down on my wife and two young kids. No warning signs at all. Luckily everyone is safe but this did cause some traumatic. We do feel uncertain about moonroofs now and are considering a different vehicle.

For 2 years we have had intermittent issues with sliding doors not opening. The doors will not respond to the handles in or out, or remote control or door button. At 2 years old the doors jammed so bad my child was trapped in the middle. Finally we tried pulling on the door that was open about 6" and the rear window exploded. Seems to be some sort of electrical override. Really surprised the door can fail slightly open and not allow passengers to escape.
