1 Wheel problem of the 2019 Honda Passport

Failure Date: 04/01/2021

Twice the tires were found to be flat before driving. It was taken to the local Honda dealership for inspection. They would inflate the tires but stated that they could not find the issue. Because this is my families car, and I have 2 small children that are driven around in the car, I have opted to replace the tires for fear of the tires failing while driving. Thanks Honda and continental.

2 Wheel problem of the 2021 Honda Passport

Failure Date: 03/01/2021

Purchased this automobile that have a vibration while riding in every type of roads that I noted after riding back home from the dealership. At the moment of the initial test drive this condition wasn't noted since we test drive a Passport ex-l trim model. I went to the dealership (appointment on record) and informed the service department of the issues. I waited at the dealership for 2. 5 hrs and they informed that they verified the alignment and wheel balances and nothing was found. I returned home and called back the dealer and informed that vibration condition still occurring. They suggested to change the 4 tires and wheels since maybe a from factory issue. I asked the dealer to perform a test ride on a new similar unit. We did it, drove the new unit and no vibrations found, so that is not a normal operating condition. Dealer test drive my automobile and noted that the vibration still there on the driver's seat and steering wheel. I went to the dealership again and left the car for correcting the vibration issue. They still working on the same service order and didn't closed the previous one. Today, they changed the front right tire (doesn't looks new) and they mentioned that they redo the wheel balances. After a second repair attempt, while driving back home I noted that the vibration stills. During the ride back home I noted that while breaking, the automobile was vibrating also now. New issue. My automobile was left at the service department for a complete verification with their technicians. I asked them before delivering the automobile to me to perform a final test drive inspection with the shop foreman after correcting the issue. As a note, vibration condition happens in newly asphalted roads, old asphalted roads, highways, FL turnpike, everywhere. I feel unsafe with these vibration conditions.

3 Wheel problem of the 2019 Honda Passport

Failure Date: 01/27/2021

The vehicle was being driven at moderate speed, 45-50 mph, without warning a loud explosion was heard and vehicle control was severely lessened. The incident took place on a bridge which required the vehicle to by driven slowly approx. 1. 2 mile to a safe location. Inspection determined that the passenger side front tire had suffered sudden catastrophic loss of air. Inspection by two knowledgeable mechanics and a continental tire rep. Failed to locate and signs of puncture. We are aware of a recall on the model of our tires however our size is not listed as a recalled item. The tire in question is still in our possession and would be available for inspection if needed. ## #vpic# 1 - check digit (9th position) does not calculate properly #vpic#.

4 Wheel problem of the 2019 Honda Passport

Failure Date: 09/30/2020

The tire was flat. The car is driven very little and there were no nails or cause for the flat according to technician. The tire was simply damaged. We called the dealer and were only told that tire could not be ordered because there's a reported issue with the tires for our vehicle. Car is less than a year old and low mileage. Vehicle was stationary for 4 days when we noticed.

5 Wheel problem of the 1999 Honda Passport

Failure Date: 07/01/2013

Last year I noticed rust that had become a gaping hole in the lower part- rear axle frame of my Honda Passport's . Recently when I was driving real axle frame cracked with a loud noise. Temporary welding is done . I checked with Honda service, car body repair and local mechanic -no one assured that it can be fixed. And finally it makes the car impossible to sell. Please help me on this. I am the third owner VIN 4s6cm58wxx4419339.

6 Wheel problem of the 1999 Honda Passport

Failure Date: 04/03/2010

My 1999 Honda Passport has a rear stabilizer bar holding the wheel in place that is welded onto the frame. The stabilizer bar has rusted off the frame (or "ripped" off the frame while I was driving), causing the wheel to become loose. This vehicle swerved all over the road until I got it stopped. The vehicle is un-drivable and was towed away. There were no warning signs of this going bad. I am still unsure what the fix would be, as it is the frame that is bad.

7 Wheel problem of the 2000 Honda Passport

Failure Date: 09/18/2008

I had to junk my Honda Passport because the bracket that held the wheel to the frame detached due to corrosion which I was told would not be safe if attempted to repair it. Two yrs later there is a recall for that exact thing. How is it possible that Honda claims the could fix this when no one else could and why will they not compensate for my loss. Sorry but an eight yr old car should not just fall apart.
