Air bags of 2007 Honda Pilots, along with millions of other cars, have been recalled. There has been articles stating that it only affects cars in high humid and/or hot states. My VIN # does not bring a recall up but it is a 2007 Honda Pilot. If I do a search of 2007 Honda Pilot, the car comes up as airbag recall. Maybe this is because I'm in nc and it is not considered a high humidity state??? how can it be determined that my vehicle is safe and another one is not safe. I will not feel safe until my airbags are replaced but the dealership says there is no recall. I think about it every time I drive and especially when I am carrying my grandchildren or other passengers.

The 2007 Honda Pilot is included in a list of Honda vehicles as part of your recall #14v-35 dated 6/19/2014. Today I contacted american Honda customer service and they verified that the VIN of my 2007 Pilot is included in the recall. I was informed that the company has not yet sent owners a recall notice and they have no schedule yet to get the appropriate parts to the dealers. What really disturbs me is, the spokesperson confirmed this is a safety issue and if we chose to continue to drive the vehicle, we must drive with extreme caution, as front passengers could be seriously hurt in a frontal collision. American Honda is not giving us a choice but a sentence. We must drive it as it is the only vehicle available for work commuting, and visiting sick family up-state. So we continue to drive a defective vehicle, knowing that possibly, through no fault of our own, the driver and front passenger could be seriously injured. There must be thousands of other people who are also in the same position within the scope of this recall. Nhtsa must put major pressure on american Honda to fix these vehicles before we or someone else is seriously injured.
Srs (airbag malfunction) red light came on 2007 Honda Pilot ex for no apparent reason. The srs red light stays on while driving. Vehicle age only 3 years old with zero accident history. Worried about so called "Honda reliability". This is a safety issue no doubt.
