2 Gasoline Fuel System problem

Failure Date: 04/02/2025

The contact's son owns a 2016 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that her son smelled a gasoline odor in the cabin of the vehicle. The contact stated that the odor was very strong and that her son had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic. 3 Gasoline Fuel System problem

Failure Date: 10/11/2024

The contact owns a 2016 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that while driving at 70 mph, all the warning lights were illuminated. The contact was able to veer to the side of the highway where the vehicle stalled and restarted. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would either hesitate or stall upon the depression of the accelerator pedal as the check engine light would appear on the instrument panel. 6 Gasoline Fuel System problem

Failure Date: 01/24/2024

The contact owns a 2016 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds on several occasions, the vehicle started sputtering and lost motive power. On another occasion, while driving 65 mph, the contact stated that the stability assist, power steering, hill start assist, fuel emission,s and a few other unknown warning lights illuminated. 7 Gasoline Fuel System problem

Failure Date: 03/31/2023

The contact owns a 2016 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that while driving on the highway at 40 mph, the vehicle lost automotive power and shut off in the middle of the highway. The contact stated that all the warning lights had illuminated. The vehicle was not able to be restarted. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed; however, the dealer found no cause for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. 8 Gasoline Fuel System problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2019

The contact owns a 2016 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that while stopped at a red light and after releasing the brake pedal the fuel saving feature had malfunctioned and the engine did not immediately restart. During the incident the message "put vehicle to park mode" had displayed. The contact indicated that the failure was very intermittent and when the vehicle was taken to the local dealer the failure could not be duplicated so no problem was found and no service was performed.
