Tl-the contact owns a 2016 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that right after purchasing the vehicle from a used car lot and traveling 65 mph, the vehicle stalled. The emisions failure, transmission failure illuminated, the voice command instructed the contact to pull over a soon as possible, then the vehicle shot off completelly ( no brakes, no steering ). The contact coasted to the side of the road and restarted ( the emmissions failure message was still on ). The vehicle still at the dealer, no diagnostic rendered. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 111,000. Bp.

3 Transmission Failure problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2019

Tl-the contact owns a 2016 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that the transmission was failing with the vehicle not accelerating as needed to safety move about in traffic. The vehicle was purchase by the contact brand new. There's an issue with the transmission that causes the fluid to overheat. This issue causes the transmission to need to be flushed of that burnt fluid on a regular basis costing the contact or any other owner $300 to $400 each time. The issue is widespread according to the contact investigating online. The vehicle was taken to the dealer howdy Honda 5519 e ben white blvd, austin, TX 78741 (512) 686-1544 who was fixing the vehicle at this time including updating the vehicle computer. The manufacturer had not been contacted yet. The failure mileage was 60,000. Tf.
