The contact owns a 2019 Honda Pilot. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle stalled. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and was diagnosed with a misfire in cylinders #4 and #6, and that the ecm had failed. The contact related the failure to an unknown recall; however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. No further information was available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 66,000.
