I have owned the car for not even a full year yet. It has 19,000 miles and I have already had to repair 2 bent rims. I have never had this issue with any other vehicle I have driven nor does any other vehicle in my household have this issue. I just find it weird that I've had to spend $1000 in less than a year.

On 1/18 I was dropping my daughter off at chicopee high school when I took left to front street I heard a snap and the car took me to the right direction causing my rim to be damaged. The tired rob broke. I called roadside they tow the car to curry Honda in chicopee mass. Today when I called cury Honda one of the managers insisted that I hit a poth hole without me explaining and saying this never happened when online there’s been customers complaining with the same situation 2023 -2025 with Honda Pilots experience the same issue. It’s a safety matter where it could been worse me in the car with 4 of my children,.
I have had numerous issues with the car stalling while in idle- it will shut off but still display all the warning lights on the dash. It would require the car engine to be restarted. Has happened at stop signs, stop lights, carpool lights. This has happened at least 10 times over 3. 5 years. Last week I had a similar issue but this time it was much scarier- it did that same shut off but completely shut off the engine. All systems were black and the start button did not trigger a response for at least a minute. Once it finally restarted it displayed a “lost power” message on the screen. More similar issues to report.

Dealer sold me a lemon car with broken and rotten parts on the car. Dealer never stated the car was messed up or needed the major work it needs now. Dealer at one point took the car to go get inspected at a shop located on 705 jefferson Ave , "and hour later he came back with the car and parked it. Couple days later dealer called me to go get the inspector form form the inspector " gilbert/tony". While viewing the paper correctly, the car was never inspected properly. Once I was able to take the car to a shop to do my own inspection they stated to me that I was sold a lemon car and it would be almost thousands to fix the car "more then I had purchase the car. I called the dealer back multiple times and sent msgs to the dealer regarding the vehicle dealer then blocked my number and the mechanics phone I used to call him after he blocked my number. As of now I am trying to figure out a way to get this car fix and filing a complaint report against this dealer to at lease get justices from this dealer and for him to get his business shut down due to selling people as in myself broken lemon cars.

Lamont sold me a lemon vehicle. Lamont managed to get a false inspection form and provided it to me and stated the vehicle has passed inspection. Once vehicle was taken to multiple mechanic shops to find out if its even able to be fixed and as 3 mechanics stated I was sold a lemon car and they are "unable to fix" the problem. Lamont was contacted on multiple times through calls/text msgs, and voice mails and as of today none of my calls were answered. Lamont then blocked my number and continued to avoid me and the car situation he put me through. I've been trying to reach him every day since the last time he gave me the vehicles documents. I am filing this report to the best of my knowledge with the information he gave me for the vehicle. I would love to get a refund back of all my money spent for this vehicle that was sold to me as a lemon.
The spare tire strap / carrier/ mount broke causing the spare wheel and tire to fall off the bottom of the vehicle striking the vehicle behind it.
The contact owns a 2024 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that there would be a rattling noise emitted from the passenger side front wheel while driving at various speeds. When driving over uneven pavement, the sound would get louder. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.

I have reported the issue once before. Took it back to dealer for service. Serviced by rock Honda on may 28, 2024. They swore issue was resolved and I had to pay out of pocket. Same problem. Loss of all wheel drive function, car nearly stalls out while at highway speeds and on surface streets (loss of power and bucks hard). Warning message appears for awd system advising no power. I am convinced that I got a lemon. This car is absolute trash. Daily occurrence with this problem.

On may 4, 2024, normal driving conditions, experienced what felt like a loss of power. Warning on dashboard says all wheel drive system problem, only front wheels may be powered. See dealer. Pulled car over to side of road and turned engine off. Turned back on and warning was gone. Occurred again today may 25, 2024 while driving on freeway. Loss of power and same warning message displayed. I do not feel at all safe in this vehicle. I drove straight to dealership for service to look at it. Hopefully have some answers after the holiday weekend. Just purchased vehicle in August 2023 brand new. Honda Pilot elite. Starting to think I got a lemon.
Honda Pilot exl 2020 with 39,000 miles- purchased new in may 2020. We just had our Pilot oil change and multi-point inspection along with safety recall most faker replaced. With less than 40k miles we are getting told the front control arm needs to be replaced. The bushing on the right front lower control arm is torn-cracking, causing our tires to be worn and also needing to replace all four of them! I'm not sure how a four year old car, just out of 3 year warranty by a year, is needing all this excessive amount of work. Just this last year everything with the suspension and tires were completely normal and healthy! within that year only putting 10k miles on it, never been off roading or drive crazy- we both have a great driving record. So, all of this is absolutely sudden and worried for our safety. The car has never notified us of low tire pressure at anytime, ever. Having the Honda service center telling us the tires have "adnormal wear pattern of tires" (all of which is, inner wear). Not allowing us to get the normal tire rotation due to that and the tread depth measure was unevenly worn. Just a reminder, not one of the sensors have never alerted us- other than due for oil change. We went in thinking oil change and most safety recall repair would be it. Then being told 4 tires $1,000 and front control arm replacement $561 (not including service charge) is needed! bridgestone tires p245/60/r18, is the brand we currently have and need to replace immediately. I have all receipts from previous oil changes (Honda dealership in charleston SC- where we bought the car from) and multi-point inspections, seeing as this is sudden and very dangerous to not only us but to the cars around. Exact wording from our Honda service report- not fixing this issue front control arm will be unable to stabilize the suspensions fore and aft movements. Not including the tires blowing out while driving.

My vehicle started making unusuall noise when moving, noice appears like something is worng with the tires, it sounds like there is a bubble in tire but there is none and this noise is audible inside while driving. We first noticed it when we took a trip to kansas city few weeks ago and at that time my vehicle odometer was about 31600 miles only, also to add to that when brakes are applied vehicle is not slowing down consistently, it will be like breaks are applied and release and applied and released. We believe that there is manufacturing defects with the parts as we have not aboused our vehicle in any way and if we are right similar issues shoudl surface with others vehicles as well.

All wheels are loosing air pressure because of corroded wheels. This can be a road hazard if the driver didn't notice the pressure all the time.
When driving on gravel the gravel will get stuck in the rear and front brake guards. This is making the rotors get scratched and damaged, also causes a very high screeching sound. This happens every time while driving on gravel or going over gravel. I am concerned about the brakes becoming unsafe and the braking system becoming damaged. This problem has not been inspected and no warning lights come on during the problem.
The steering became extremely loose over time on my Honda Pilot posing significant safety concerns because of it. The tires adamantly follow all the divets, lines, grooves, and bumps in the road causing me to lose control of the vehicle very easily in poor driving conditions. This is especially exaggerated during inclement weather such as snow or rain. Recently, due to the steering looseness, I lost control of the vehicle and hit a mailbox damaging the entire right side of the vehicle. Please help to work with Honda to resolve this issue. Thank you!.

Travelling on interstate w/ cruise speed set @ 70 mph. Vsa (vehicle stability assist) engaged with a brief grinding noise & pulled to the right. Very startling event. Vsa activation indicator triangle light came on, as well as, the vsa system indicator light. Have experienced the event a dozen or so times on both the interstate and roads with a speed limit of 35/40 mph, without use of the cruise control. We are original owners of the vehicle and it has been diligently worked on throughout & currently has 230,000 miles on it. Awaiting delivery of a new vehicle, but intend for my newly licensed son to drive the vehicle. Took it to my repair shop, but they couldn't replicate the issue. Replaced both front speed sensors, but the issue occurred on the interstate drive home immediately after. Hope to be able to drop the vehicle off for an extended period once I take delivery on my new vehicle. Worried the issue will occur in rain or snow & be even more dangerous. Repair shop ran diagnostic showing the yaw issue, but said the Honda generated code report only went up to 25 mph. Has always pulled to the right during activation and the grinding noise is very evident & startling. Kinda feels like maybe the abs anti-braking system engages on 1 tire for a brief few seconds in my non auto mechanic analysis.

For the past two weeks my Pilot felt like it was bouncing odd. We've only owned it for 5 months and have under 5,000 miles. While monitoring the tire pressure for two weeks, I've noticed that both driver side front and rear tires have been considerably low and we haven't added any air since. I figured it was because of heat/time of day. My last drive at 80 degrees at sunset ended with both driver side tires at 33 psi and both passenger side tires around 35-37 psi. This morning both driver side tires were at 33 psi on a cold start at about 60 degrees, once I got onto the same highway and lanes I have been driving on for the past 2 weeks, I noticed the man behind me waving his arms wildly. I checked my tire pressure on the dash and noticed the rear driver side was suddenly at 24psi, 20, 17, 10 and I pulled over to change the tire. When I went to inspect prior to removing the tire, you could audibly hear air seeping out. On visual inspection there is no nail, no puncture wound or any evidence of a chance that a puncture happened and the object sheered or came out entirely. There is no sidewall damage, no rim damage of any kind. The tire itself is a bridgestone deuler h/p sport as. There was no debris in the road ## #vpic# 1 - check digit (9th position) does not calculate properly; 4 - VIN corrected, error in one position only (indicated by ! in suggested VIN), multiple matches found; 14 - unable to provide information for all the characters in the VIN. #vpic#.
I have had two tires blow out on my 2020 Pilot. One at 10,000 miles and one at 18,000 miles . I was on a main street both times and did not run over anything they just blew up . They are bridgestone dueler h/p sport as 245/60r18 m+s.
While in motion, going straight on a highway, my car, 2021 Honda Pilot touring, with approximately 1600 miles only, had the rear passenger side tire wall separated without any physical agitation from the driver. There was sudden loss of pressure, and vehicle lost control. Vehicle was stopped almost immediately and pulled over, but in that short while the rolling of the tire on the ground caused burnt smell to seep into the car for driver to notice and "freak out". The vehicle was towed to the motor werks Honda, barrington, IL, where I purchased the vehicle. I was asked to pay for the tire replacement. There has been no other defect or noteworthy condition identified by the service team. This is the same condition as described in NHTSA campaign number 20v725000; "tire carcass may break causing sudden air loss over-cured tires may develop a break in the sidewall resulting in sudden air loss or a belt edge separation which could lead to a tread/belt loss. Either condition can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. " ref: tire: continental, crosscontact lx sport 245/50r20 102 h the Honda corporate team had published a bulletin at end of November 2020 recalling 214 Honda Pilot, 2021, vehicles for this exact issue, requiring replacement of the defective tires. Since my car's VIN is not in the recall list, neither Honda dealership nor the corporate are accepting any responsibility. There was no nail or blade found by the service technician. The mileage is extremely low. Hence, the responsibility shall fall on Honda to accept and replace the tire. I have been unable to get any help from Honda in that regard. The car still is with the dealership's service team as I do not feel safe driving the car until all tires are replaced for free. I will be talking to my legal team for help as my inconvenience continues to grow.
Leaks in two of 4 pirelli scorpion verde tires were diagnosed by mechanic as ply delaminations causing multiple pinhole leaks and indicating a need for immediate replacement. I found multiple reports of destructive delaminations in service on the nhsta site, but no recall. Tires are 235/60 r18, date codes 4217 and 4717 total mileage unknown (in place when vehicle purchased used, purportedly new but more than a year old by date code, less than 20,000 miles that I know of, plenty of tread left. ) have leaked slowly for a while, assumed it was valve stem seals, asked mechanic to look at it. Tires are presently intact, leak slowly whether parked or driving on streets or highways, will be replaced ASAP, but are obviously defective.

The air bag deployed when something hit my windshield causing me to lose control of the vehicle and ending with the vehicle being on its side and the jaws of life being used to remove my body. I literally drove 1/10 of a mile when this happened at a speed of 40 mph on a side street.

I purchased this vehicle 2 months ago and I have less than 2000 miles on vehicle. It has bridgestone tire and the driver side rear tire blew.
While driving straight at 40 mph my right front brake locked up. We changed the brake caliper thinking it was the problem. It did not fix the problem. Looking online it seems to be an issue with the 2005 Honda Pilot. I searched and called Honda and my local dealer. They said there weren't any recalls or safety bulletins.
Vehicle came equipped with continental cross contact lx sport tires. I have driven car since oct 2018. Tires were immediately losing air. . They have been filled several times with air. Now the 4 tires are splitting everywhere there was a seam. 20000 miles and rotated as required at Honda dealership. Just noticed. No idea when it actually started.

Tl- the contact owns a 2012 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that air had continuously leaked out of all four tires. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer commonwealth Honda(6 commonwealth dr. Lawrence mass. ) who diagnosed that the failure was due to a faulty tire pressure monitoring system in each wheel. The vehicle was not repaired the manufacturer was notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 100,000. Jft.
I was driving at 15 mph and my car jolted and stalled and several (5) warning lights came on. Vehicle stability, brake, power steering, and a couple other lights. I turned the vehicle off and restarted the car. I tried to drive it a few miles and it would not shift properly and I couldn't drive it more than about 20 mph. I had it towed from home to the closest Honda dealership. The vehicle had around 40k miles on it at the time. Honda said it's a known issue with a bulletin - stating that the cam shaft assembly needed to be replaced along with a sensor. They told me the cam shaft assembly was under the power train warranty but I had to pay for the sensor. When I did a little research, I found that Honda was giving extended warranties to newer models having the same issue and even doing recalls but my VIN didn't qualify. A few months down the road and my car started having shifting problems again. So, I take it in and they are saying the transmission needs to be serviced but the service only gets a little bit of the fluid out so they wanted to do the service 3 times and charged me for doing the same thing 3 times. After some research, I find out that it's a known issue that they are willing to give a limited warranty on up 80k miles. My concern is that I don't feel safe driving on the highway with shifting issues, stalls and jolts that have happened within 4 months of each other. If I were on the highway when that happened, going at 60 mph, it would have caused unnecessary accidents. It's dangerous but, still no recall for my vehicle and it's like fighting tooth and toenail with Honda to get them to do what is right. I don't know when or if it will happen again. I purchased my Honda brand new. This vehicle needs to be off the roads until the issues are fixed. I think I have a lemon!.
Both front tire rims on my 2014 Honda Pilot have had to be replaced due to cracked rims. The left front rim has been replaced twice. The right front is now cracked. This car is driven under normal conditions. Left front first crack was in 2017. Left front second crack 13 months later. Right front cracked rim Nov 2018.
Since purchasing this vehicle we have had numerous rims crack along the welds. We are at our third that will need to be replaced now. The first was replaced by the dealer at no cost to us, the second we had to pay (dealer cost) for the rim and were told if it happened again it would no longer be their problem. I drive in normal conditions, to and from my kids school(round trip on paved city streets 2 miles) and to work (again round trip on city streets max 18 miles). The vehicle has not hit any curbs or major pot holes on any of these occurrences. Today when leaving for the day we had our tire pressure light on in the car. We filled the air and within 3 hours it was lit up again. Once we arrived home and parked we placed water on the weld in the same spot as the last crack and sure enough it is leaking at a crack in the weld again. This is not only a hassle, but had these wheels failed catastrophically it could be fatal for my child and my family. The Honda dealer in santa rosa, CA has implied that it is my driving that has caused these cracks. I have been online and seen numerous complaints about faulty welds on this year Pilot. There is obviously an issue and it should be investigated and recalled.
Cracked rims it has happen twice.
The tires made by goodyear and sold under the brand continental appear to be failing. My vehicle 2016 Honda Pilot touring wish I have had for approximately 18 months appears to be factory installed tire that are a potential road hazard that may lead to serious injuries and or death. I drive in California with posted speed limits of 70 miles per hour. A blow out at this rate of speed may and have caused deaths in the past. Which have included but not limited to Ford motor CO. Vehicle explorer vehicle recall. I do not want to see my daughter in a casket just because a company refuses to take responsibility for faulty equipment. My tires are missing chunks and it make it hard to drive safely.
The tpms system isn't monitoring the wheels sensors. The sensors were check and are good. The problem is that tpms system that not appear in the control panel to reset this. The light of tpms system is on all the time. This occured to 37,000 milles aprox.
I have noticed for some time that the front driver side seems to shake a little when driving. It appears that there is a leak in the wheel bearing. However, this is not the first time I've had an issue with the wheel bearing in the vehicle. A year ago, when I drove on the highway, I could not turn the wheel. I had to pull over, re-start the car to take it to the dealer. The wheel bearings were worn down at that time. It was replaced then and now, about a year later, I have a leak.

Three rims are leaking and I've taken them to Honda on multiple ocasiones and the only thing they've would tell me is the it needed air in them. When I took the Pilot to discount tires for a tire repair they advise me that it was a rim problem.
Steering wheel jerking left or right. Jerking occurs erratically and unpredictably; steering wheel jerks at highway speeds which could easily cause the loss of control of the vehicle on the highway and is very dangerous and stressful since it is not clear when the wheel jerking will occur while driving. It does tend to occur while on curved roads, appearing to try to jerk the wheel straight when the car steering needs to be adjusted to stay in one's lane; red and amber malfunction lights come on and off frequently. In particular, the tire pressure monitoring system (tpms) light comes on and off regularly even without the jerking steering wheel. The tpms warning light also often flashes at the same time as the jerking steering at highway speeds such as around 50 mph. Red display of brake light warning and amber display of brake system warning often occur, sometimes paired with the jerking steering wheel. The jerking occurs typically on the highway at speeds such as 50 or 55 miles per hour.
