This is the first time I had to replace the transmission at 65867 miles on it, well I was driving down to the street one day and then it's started to slip in. And out of a gear and the next day I tried to pull out of. My driveway the transmission is bad and Honda knows this, the second time it is now 186573 miles on the second transmission.

2 Equipment problem of the 1995 Honda Prelude

New tires purchased in 2018 do not have standard dot code for date of manufacture. The code is printed on the ire as" cch7. . K1710u-1. The tires are yokohama s drive. 205/55-r15. No one seems able to tell me the manufacture date. The tires are visually ok and have 4500 miles on them, but I am concerned as to how old they may be, and should the retailer be aware of the dot code? can you DE-code the manufacture date?.

While the car is in motion driving on the free way the car will shut off due to ignition switch or tumbler any key movement will cause the car to shut off making the steering wheel to lock up vary dangerous to travel with children.

Its the automatic transmission it only has 136000 miles on it and I need a new one that's really low miles for a 97 never hade a problem like this ever with any of my cars. I heard its with all the Hondas.

5 Equipment problem of the 2001 Honda Prelude

While driving the car just turns off then wont start for awhile when starts back up shuts off while driving down the road we know there is a recall on the igition switch and enterior lights on this vechicle we have three kids that ride in this car and dont want something to happen while we are driving the car and it shuts off nd wont start while we are in traffic. Please help.

6 Equipment problem of the 1999 Honda Prelude

Failure Date: 04/04/2005

My son was driving the 1999 Honda Prelude on the expressway when the engine stopped runing. He was able to push the car over to the side of the road with out any crash or injuries. He was luckey that there were few cars on the road at the time. Had it towed to a repair shop. The idle bolt for the timming belt broke at the engine and had to be drilled out to be replaced. Old part is not available.
