Takata recall yesterday 2/05/16 I contacted american Honda motor inc and was given a claim number 04437864 to begin the process of obtaining a rental to use until the parts are available for the recall. A VIN search included my vehicle at the time and was verified. I was assigned to lisa (case manager) who left a voicemail yesterday afternoon. After 3 failed attempts to reach her I attempted to move forward on my own in picking up a rental and dropping if my truck at the local dealer rick woodson Honda. I am not able to do anything as lisa is only available m-f and now all of a sudden when I enter my VIN it reflects that there is not a recall on my vehicle. Is this an attempt at a cover up or did I do something wrong? I am afraid for my safety and that of my family driving a vehicle with an airbag that cause fatal injury. What do I do now? -dan kelly.
