1 Sensing System Camera problem

The contact owns a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. The contact stated the rear view camera was not working properly. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. Upon investigation, the contact noticed near the tailgate, the rear view camera wire was fractured. The contact took the vehicle to local dealer and made them aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 39,000.

2 Sensing System Camera problem

Failure Date: 07/05/2022

Wiring for back up camera was designed to rub against the tailgate hinge. After several years it rubs through the insulation and then the back up camara doesnt work. Poorly designed ,in fact designed to fail.

3 Sensing System Camera problem

Failure Date: 06/01/2022

Rear back up camera failure due to rear gate wiring harness failure.

4 Sensing System Camera problem

Failure Date: 01/05/2021

The contact owns a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle in reverse, the rear view camera was inoperable. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the wire harness was faulty. The vehicle was not repaired. The local dealer curry Honda located at 5525 peachtree industrial blvd, chamblee, GA 30341 and the manufacturer were notified of the failure however, no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 31,000.
