1 Sensing System Camera problem

Failure Date: 08/17/2022

Backup camera stopped working. Will sometimes work after the tailgate has been opened and closed. Wiring harness from the tailgate to the truck body is frayed and poorly designed for the fold down and swing feature of the tailgate. Poor sightlines on the truck make backing up using the mirrors challenging and stressful.

2 Sensing System Camera problem

Failure Date: 02/13/2022

Rear camera quit working due to broke wire at tailgate pivot. Not as safe to back up.

3 Sensing System Camera problem

Failure Date: 03/15/2021

Rear camera failure; wiring harness failed just after warranty expired; wiring harness frayed and wires broken where harness traverses from rear cab body to tailgate;.
