This happened on the interstate. This happens repeatedly (about once per week) for my spouse, but today was the first time for me. I was changing lanes at about 75 mph, and the tachometer dropped to zero despite my further depressing the accelerator. I took my foot off and again depressed the accelerator and the engine reengaged. I have not had the dealer look at this yet. There were no warning lamps or other messages in the driver information.
On 08/23/23 multiple safety warning lights activated on my dashboard. I took my vehicle to my Honda dealer and after two days it was returned and I was told that it was repaired. The next day while driving the exact same thing occurred and I noticed that the vehicle was not accelerating normally and the brake warning light activated although there were no cars or objects in front of me. I returned to the dealership who kept my vehicle for 5 days returning it to me and telling me that they could not duplicate the error. I drove my car approximately ten miles from the dealership and all of the warning lights again activated and the vehicle was not accelerating as it had prior to this problem. I returned to the dealership and they now have the vehicle and explained that they will contact the Honda help line.
Adaptive cruise isn’t smooth. Accelerates and deaccelerates constantly when following another vehicle.
