Service Brakes problem #1

2024 Honda Ridgeline. Brakes stick or slow to release. Feels like brakes are dragging. Delayed acceleration. This is unsafe. Dealer has had vehicle 7+ days total across 2 repair attempts from March 25th 2026 thru April 1st 2026 and again April 29th 2026 and dealership still has the vehicle. Has not been able to fix the issue. Honda issued dealer message on August 7, 2025 stating "american Honda motor CO. ,inc. Is searching for certain 2023-2025 odysseys, passports, and Ridgelines with a customer complaint of the brakes sticking. Vehicle purchased April 1st 2024 and has 12,700 miles. Currently at dealership for 2nd attempt. This is a known safety defect Honda is actively investigating. Sticking brakes crash risk. Delayed acceleration. Feeling of brakes dragging. Ongoing intermittent issue. I have been offered a loaner vehicle on both occasions.

Service Brakes problem #2

The issues with this vehicle and the ongoing problems related to the forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking have previously been reported to you under complaint number 11619917. With additional events, the vehicle has again been taken back to the dealer and the issues reported to american Honda. The mechanical conditions still exist. The dealer has driven the vehicle and now says that the known conditions are normal? they also blame the conditions on the roads being driven (county and state highways)? how can a vehicle manufacturer be allowed to sell vehicles with known safety defects? by itself, that is outrageous. I am uploading the dealer repair invoice for the most recent events. Can someone take this seriously and do something before there is an accident and someone is either hurt or killed?.

Service Brakes problem #3

While traveling at the posted speed, the automatic emergency braking system applied the brakes without any vehicle in front of us. The speed limit on this particular road is 50 miles per hour. The braking was so sudden and applied with force that the vehicles traveling behind us had to apply their brakes to avoid a collision with us. This has happened before, but never with such force. The date I have given below is the most recent event. The issues have been reported to the dealer without resolution.
