Two problems related to clutch pedal/linkage have been reported for the 1997 Hyundai Accent. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Automatic front seat belts would not release after being locked. Also, clutch fell out while driving 55 mph. Vehicle lost control. Engine lifters also went out.
Contaminated clutch fluid. Bled clutch and restored clutch pressure.
