Two problems related to alternator/generator/regulator have been reported for the 1999 Hyundai Accent. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel valve was replaced twice. Also, alternator was replaced twice. Warranty expired, and any other repairs would be paid by the consumer.
There were numerous electrical problems. The vehicle had broken down after charging the system and the warning light had come on. The alternator overheated which caused the headlamps to fail, several fuses had to be replaced.
