1 Alternator/generator/regulator problem

Failure Date: 06/08/2005

Alternator pulley not aligned with crank pulley. Tried shimming, tightening and nothing works. Causes belt to slip off and car to overheat. Car overheated and warped head and collapsed piston rings. Engine is available.

2 Alternator/generator/regulator problem

Failure Date: 04/01/2001

When at a stop, and brake applied, vehicle will surge and engine will rev. Vehicle will also accelerate on its own and buck while driving. Vehicle has been taken to dealer 3 times, the pulse generator was replaced twice. Also the battery was replaced, also a tire blew out.

3 Alternator/generator/regulator problem

The vehicle idled rough. The dealer was contacted and the pulse generator was replaced. The consumer picked up the vehicle and still experienced the same problem. The vehicle has been to the shop on different occasions with no results. Ts scc.
