general problems of the 2009 Hyundai Accent

The contact owned a 2019 Hyundai Accent. The contact stated that while his girlfriend was driving at approximately 35 mph, the vehicle lost motive power. No warning light was illuminated on the instrument panel. The contacts girlfriend then coasted the vehicle to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 93,000.

Tl- the contact owns a 2009 Hyundai Accent. The contact stated that while attempting to open the driver side door the door handle broke off. The contact indicated that the failure later occurred on the passenger side door. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who replaced the door handles. The contact also indicated that while driving the vehicle would suddenly began to shudder and loose power. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the spark plug wire harness had failed and needed to be replaced. The contact indicated that the failure eventually occurred on all four spark plugs wire harnesses. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 55,000. Jft.

The contact owns a 2009 Hyundai Accent. The contact stated that the brake pedal abnormally traveled to the floorboard when depressed. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer several times, but the failure was not corrected. The dealer replaced the brake cylinder four times. The contact spoke with the manufacturer and was told that the vehicle was operating in the manner in which it was designed. The failure mileage was 75 and the current mileage was 34,000. The horn was replaced. Also, the consumer problems with the front end, the tires were cupping, as a result the front end had to be aligned. Also, there were water stains on the carpet.
