Tl- the contact owns 2011 Hyundai genesis. The contact stated that while the driver was driving, while depressing the brake pedal the vehicle failed to stop. In addition, the contact stated the brake pedal was depressed to the floorboard to bring the vehicle to a stop. No warning indicator lights illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for a diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not part of NHTSA campaign number: 13v113000 (service brakes). The approximate failure mileage was unknown. Aw.

The contact also stated that the brakes are wearing down allot faster than normal. The brakes have to be changed at least once a month. It was raining and I was driving about 35 mph and I tried to brake so I could merge into the left lane but my steering wheel locked up and my car started sliding and I hit the back of another car. My whole front end was smushed, but my air bags didn't come out even though it was an extremely hard impact.
