The contact owns a 2013 Hyundai Accent. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked and unoccupied, both the front driver and passenger side automatic door locks activated independently. The failure recurred whenever the vehicle was in operation. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 8,000.

Hood Latch problem #2

Tl the contact owns a 2013 Hyundai Accent. While driving 65 mph, the hood flew open and slammed into the windshield. The contact was able to exit the highway and forced the hood closed. City auto park (4395 us-130, burlington, new jersey 08016, (609) 871-2800) stated that due to the fact that the hood was able to open and latch closed during inspection, there was nothing that could be done to repair the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that a certified Hyundai dealer must inspect the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.
