The contact owns a 2012 Hyundai Accent. The contact stated while driving 70 mph, the contact felt the vehicle accelerating while braking. The contact was able to make it home, the contact shafted the vehicle to park and the vehicle kept accelerating without any warning. An independent mechanic diagnosed the vehicle, and stated that the gas pedal was stick, the gas pedal was replaced. The dealer was contacted, and they stated that there was no recall for that failure. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 90,000.
