Two problems related to front air bag sensor control have been reported for the 1997 Hyundai Elantra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Air bag module failed causing light to illuminate continually.
Airbag sensor stays illuminated while vehicle is in motion. Manufacturer has been notified.
