1 Tire Tread/belt problem

Failure Date: 09/18/2000

Internal belt separation--occurred first time on passenger front, now it has occurred on passenger rear. I will be replacing all four tires with something else due to this continued problem, fear of well-being in danger due to defect, and the factor that the manufacturer does not manufacture these tires any more. 2 Tire Tread/belt problem

Failure Date: 01/01/1901

Firestone tire failure steel belt separation from the tread. The consumer purchased two new tires for the rear of his vehicle because one of his original tires had a slow leak. The consumer was not aware that the tire dealer replaced the two rear tires with firestone tires. After the new tires were installed that consumer wife began to complain about the vehicle wobbling while driving. The consumer took the vehicle to a local pep boys so they could check the tires. During this check they informed the consumer that the tread on one of the rear tires had separated and that was what was causing the car to wobble while being driven.
