In addition, while parked in a driveway, the vehicle surged with a high rate of speed and independently crashed into the driveway. The driver was not injured. The vehicle was towed to a collision center and then towed to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed that the accelerator pedal and springs needed to be replaced because they were sticking.
