Door handle defective. Mirror defective.
The drivers side sun visor no longer stays up and is a visibility hazard. Looking on line this is a common issue and some models are already listed for the recall however not the 2010 Elantra touring. This happens at any time while the vehicle is stationary in motion etc.
While driving I went to dim the rear view mirror because someone had their brights on me and the rear view mirror fell off. It shocked me and so when I pulled over to look at exactly what happened I noticed that it was not the adhesive to just wear off, a chunk of the glass came off with the rear view mirror. There is currently a hole in my windshield, it is not all the way through but a mechanic said if I even hit a pothole too hard the windshield can shatter. I am not the hulk and can't rip apart glass so the only thing I can think of is that this is a serious manufacturer defect. The dealership I bought the car from are unable to see me tomorrow and I really hope that this can be resolved. Thank you.
