The contact owns a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. The contact stated while driving 55 mph, the traction control warning light illuminated and the vehicle decelerated. The vehicle was making an abnormal sound. The contact switched to econ mode and the vehicle operated as designed. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer nor an independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The local dealer was made aware of the failure and the contact was awaiting a callback from the dealer.
